WHO We ARE

Orii is a platform dedicated to empowering underrepresented creatives by providing the tools, opportunities, and community they need to thrive.

We address the lack of accessible spaces where POC and LGBTQ+ artists can safely create, collaborate, and receive mentorship.

By offering a supportive environment and essential resources, Orii enables emerging artists to develop their craft, build confidence, and forge sustainable careers in the music and creative industries.

At our core, Orii is a dynamic and inclusive creative jam session, designed to support young POC and LGBTQ+ musicians, producers, designers, and creatives working across nu-jazz, neo-soul, hip-hop, R&B, and genre-expansive projects. We believe in fostering artistic growth, personal expression, and mental well-being by facilitating collaboration and performance opportunities in a safe and inspiring setting.

With up to 12 events per month, we specialise in creating enriching, inclusive experiences that platform underrepresented talent and emerging artists.

identity

Orii is a proudly Black-led movement, founded by artist Neue Grafik, and deeply embedded in London’s thriving jazz and club culture. We curate safe spaces for POC and LGBTQ+ creatives.

Jamming twice weekly from two of the city’s most vital Black-owned venues, Orii has become a hub for boundary-pushing live music and cross-genre experimentation.

We have hosted Grammy-winning artists like Thundercat and Blue Lab Beats, collaborated with trailblazing acts such as Colectiva and DaMetalMessiah, and partnered with major cultural forces including We Out Here, the Southbank Centre, and Worldwide FM. Orii is more than just a music platform—it’s a movement redefining the future of London’s creative scene.
